Looks like a Gap ad, right? The commercial smile, clean background, and simple styling. The moment I saw it, I instantly thought Gap ad. But it's actually an editorial photo of model Frankie Fallica, shot by Michael Rowe. The real allure of the photo, however, is not it's similarity to one of my favorite stores [yeah, I'm talking about the Gap]. The authentic allure happens to be whats wrapped around his head and neck. It's like a hybrid between the snoods Burberry did for Fall 2009 and a hood. I desperately want to own one! And although snoods didn't commercial take-of like I'd hoped, they did quite well in the fashion industry--having shown up in dozens of editorials, etc. I'm not remotely sure where that piece of genius neck-head-gear came from, but if anyone does it would be greatly appreciated. But for now, Ill find solace in the Filippa K wool hooded scarf.

Not as amazing, but it gets the job done and is equally innovative. Made of lambswool, the navy rib knit scarf comes with an attached hood for sartorial ease in one big swoop. Available now via Ssense for the high-price of $110. If you've got the money to spend...go ahead and stimulate the economy.

I hate the Filippa K hooded scarf, but I dig the snood thing.
If you learned to knit, you could make one yourself :)
Your right. You need to give me lessons. So many problems like this could be avoided if I could knit.
